Police Arrest American Man Openly Smoking Marijuana on Walking Street
Pattaya, November 18, 2010, [PDN]: At 11.30 pm, on 17th December 2010, Pattaya Deputy Police Investigator, Captain Tanasit Geanleum, received a report from a patrol officer, who had detained a male tourist for smoking marijuana in Soi 14 on Walking Street. A team of officers was sent to assist.
At the scene they found an American man, Mr. Igan Hernandec [36], who had the appearance of a Rastafarian, and was clearly intoxicated. In his possession they found 3 gm of dried marijuana wrapped in a cigarette paper.
Police questioned the patrol officer, bar owners and bystanders who said the man was walking around, smoking the marijuana openly, and didn’t seem to care that what he was doing is illegal in Thailand.
Mr. Hernandec was arrested and taken to the Pattaya police station and was informed that he would be charged with the possession and consumption of a Category 5 narcotic.

Penalties associated with marijuana (Category 5):
Offence: Manufacture, import or export, sales or possession for sale.
Penalty: 2 to 15 years in prison and a fine of 20,000 – 150,000 Baht
Offence: Possession
Penalty: Up to 5 years in prison and a maximum fine of 5000 baht.
If the sbstance is “Kratom” [milder than Marijuana], up to 2 years in jail and/or a fine of 1000 Baht
(If the amount of Category 5 Narcotic is more than 10kg the offence is deemed as possession for sale).
Offence: Consumption
Penalty: Up to 1 year in prison and a fine not more than 100,000 baht
(If “Kratom”, then up to 1 month in prison and fine not more 1000 Baht)

Just because you and the idiots you know chose that path, don't assume that anyone who tries any kind of drug will follow your shining example.
So how many years were you on smack before you decided it was cheaper to get methadone on prescription? I really hope you are not in Thailand, I dread to think what is crawling around in your veins.

I don't touch weed myself, don't see the point, and i can stop myself from taking any drug because I have two things. Will-power and sense.

I use to smoke the old herb myself and can tell you this weed he has is not very strong, an old dried up bit of Thai grass no buds or crystals.
