Pattaya, November 16, 2010, [PDN]: A wealthy Russian real estate agent staying at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort took two ladies, who had met in Walking Street’s Sirens’ Bar, up to his room at the exclusive hotel, hoping to have an energetic session, yesterday evening, Nov15. However, rather than savouring the ladies’ delights, the man was administered a Mickey Finn, which effectively knocked him out, allowing the two ladies to steal valuables to the tune of Bt10 million.
The victim, Mr. Valerii Gribunov, [46], recovered consciousness this morning, Nov 16, and finding both of his seductresses absent, checked the contents of his safe to find it ransacked. He immediately notified hotel security, who in turn notified Pol.Lt.Col. Taratep Tupanich, who sent a team to the five-star hotel to investigate.
Mr.Valerii told the police team that he had met the suspects at the Sirens’ bar in Walking Street, the previous night. Nov15. He related that the pair had been extremely attractive, friendly and seductive, to the extent that he decided to invite them back to his exclusive hotel room, agreeing to pay them Bt1,500 each. Mr.Valerii told the police that he thought he had a good deal at the price.
Arriving at the hotel reception, the ladies handed a copy of their ID cards to the receptionist to keep, as required by Thai law. They then went up to his room and began to make preparations. Just prior to the point where he expected to have sex, Mr.Valerii had been given a glass of water by one of them. He almost immediately began to feel dizzy and that was effectively all he could remember, having lost consciousness almost instantaneously. He told police that he was disappointed that he had not managed to have sex with either woman.

When he recovered consciousness some considerable time later, he continued, the women had vanished. Rushing to his room safe, he found to his extreme dismay that everything of value had disappeared. The missing items included a ruby ring, a diamond watch, a bracelet, a necklace and a few other valuable items, totalling over Bt10 million in value.
Police spokesman Pol.Lt.Col. Taratep told press that Mr.Valerii Gribunov was a real estate businessman who had travelled to Thailand on business. He also said that his officers had checked the women’s ID card copies and found they were fake. Nevertheless, police were in the process of checking the hotel CCTV footage to find more information about the alleged thieves and are confident of bringing them to justice in a very short time.

10M Baht! Get the fuck out of here total insurance scam.
How the the girls get the safe open?
Never stayed at the Royal Cliff but I THOUGHT it was standard practice when a girls leaves the reception calls the punter to make sure everything is OK BEFORE giving the ID card back. So the cards were fake and the most prestigious hotel in Pattaya is that untrained they cant spot a fake?
No CCTV pictures of the girls entering/leaving? WTF?
The boy is trying to blag a scam, period.
Sincerely,
Mr. Gribunov
Otherwise, he's be "Russian found dead in room by maid of apparent heart attack". And the Mickey Finns go on like nothing happened.
No wonder people stop coming here (pun intended).
These are not just 2 bargirls from the Siren bar, but this gang related. These girls don't go with a ordinary guy who stays at a guesthouse from 250 Baht a night!
They must followed this rich bloke to the beerbars.
This guy reeks of something a lot more than being an estate agent.
If he's got the cash police will find their women
1) What happen to those two girls? Royal Cliff has many many CCTV, and believe me they are good ones.
They get caught in a hurry.
2) Which travel insurance you can claim 10 Million Baht worth?
I mean thats 250,000 Euro, a lot.
I like those shorts,too. It says "Go-Go"

sure not in Russia.
thank you - for what you take care about me so much. Maybe you my thai ex-wife ? she before use nick name " kritthira " real name " suphak "
Although no one really cares about prostitution being technically illegal here, you can be sure any greedy insurance company will use the criminal activity clause to get out of paying a claim.
kritthira: Douche!
Amazing that two common prostitutes had the ability to open the safe. Maybe they were psychics and read his mind to get the combination.
Another story that doesn't make too much sense.
Added 10 million baht to the local economy. TAT should be proud of the quality tourist that they attract.
do you know the Room Prices of the Royal Cliff????
Don t think a Brick Layer could afford it.
If you would go after the looks I think we all think the same in what kind of Business he may is involved.
But hey who knows!!! LOL
