Pattaya, 4 November 2010,[PDN]: four top windsurfers from the Windsurfing Association of Thailand will be jetting off to Guangzhou, China on Nov5 to participate in the 16th Asian Games to be held there from Nov12-17.

Pattaya Mayor Mr. Itthiphol Khunplume told press that the Windsurfing Association had received the approval of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand to send a 4-man team to compete in the 16th Asian Games. Each member of the 4-man team will compete in different events as follows: Mr. Ek Bunswat (Male-RSX), Miss Sorocha Phumphrai (Female RSX), Mr. Seksan Khunthorng (Male IMGO), and Miss Naphalai Thansai (Female IMGO).

The windsurfers have been practising hard and are now full of confidence, so much so that they have high hopes of winning at least one medal each. To boost their efforts and take care of their physical fitness the hopefuls will be accompanied by Mr. Kriangkrai Sakunfaeng (the team coach) and Mr. Wiritphol Wingnon (physiotherapist).
