Pattaya City Hall Announce Halloween Festival 2010

Local administrators and officials came together on Tuesday to announce the staging of 2010 Pattaya Halloween Festival along Beach Road.

Pattaya, the 19th of October 2010 [PDN]: From the Pattaya City Hall, Mayor Itthiphol Khunpluem, Chon-Buri Administrative Member Chalerm Ketjae and Pattaya TAT President Niti Kongkrut jointly announced the staging of Pattaya Halloween Festival 2010 to a gathering of local administrative officers, officials and involved participants in the festivals organisation.

Mayor Khunpluem addressed the audience, acknowledging that Pattaya has seen a significant decline in tourism over the past year due to a combination of several factors both domestically and internationally. Despite this, the mayor expressed his opinion that the worst but that he had confidence that the worst of times has passed.

In line with the mayors forecasting of a more productive and profitable future for Pattaya tourism, the announcement of this years Halloween festival, an ever popular event on the local calendar, came to great applause.

This years festival stage will be setup in front of the Hard Rock Hotel along Pattaya’s Beach Road, where several concerts by popular Thai artists will perform over the 30th and 31st of October. Inclusive in this year’s festival will be the popular Halloween Fancy Dress Contest with a cash prize of Bt150,000 for the winner.

Along with numerous other events and activities organised for the festival, a variety of individual private events and the participation of the majority of businesses in Pattaya will ensure that the 2010 Halloween Festival is bigger and better than ever.

The world economy.
Crime in Pattaya is rising and tourists know it.
Pattaya wants quality tourists but it is far from reaching the standard.
