Arrested girl told me the farang who assisted police is the sex movie guy arrested a few months ago.

The Police are doing this the Thai way.helping out the shorttime hotels and smaller bars that rents out rooms . . . they are by the looks of things only targetting Bars where the girl in the same bar as the rooms they go to to do their work.Trying to do their job by enforcing Thai law does not seem to concern any policeoffer as the sale of sex goes on as usuall right under the Polices nose . . . . Buisness as usuall in sin city.

I just happened to see the BKK coppers in the Karaoke Bars near my place in Huay Kwang (BKK). Apparently off-duty and enjoying themselves - or they were just doing some training for further raids of farang catering establishments in Pattaya.

Thanks for the info.How about a crackdown on putting small kids in the back of pickup trucks and driving them around in the scorching sun and intense traffic pollution and no law to put helmets on them either.It is a human right to have protection from your care givers.Everyone can see how they suffer.

And about the Farang that the police send into the bars as to help the police in their raids these must be farang who have committed some crimes and the way they are getting off or out of their troubles is to be a snitch or rat. These are just my assumptions there may be no truth behind it but that seems to be the general consensus.

Well I guess all of you have known for a long time that prostitution is illegal in Thailand. I think that the police should close all Go-Go bars in Bangkok and Pattaya. All these dirty old men coming to Thailand to look to have sexual relations with underage boys and girls is disgusting. I read all the comments in this post as well as other posts and wow was I surprised to see how many foreigners were so concerned about the loss of tourism for Thailand? I believe what these people in the posts are saying is that the police are making it too hard for them to enjoy themselves. Let me ask all you sexual deviants why are you not in your own country having sex with young underage girls? Yes thats right because you all know that if you did that in your own country that you would be arrested and incarcerated for a very long time and probably be beaten up or murdered in jail back in your own countries. I also find it very interesting as many of these sexual deviants have grown children back in their homelands, so maybe they ran away or come here because they have done something to their own children, or maybe they come here because they think of having sex with their own children.

As for the police good job but I think you can do better. It is time that all the human rights groups get together and attack this problem in Thailand CLOSE ALL THE SEX BARS!!! As for the concerns of the foreigners about the amount of tourists here don't worry about Thailand this is not your country let the government deal with their problems. Thailand keeps shooting themselves in the foot. The reason no one is coming here is because Thailand has lost face in the International Community. The foreign currencies are weak and the Baht remains strong. Good luck to Thailand. It's ironic that Pattaya is now harassing mongers, and the businesses that cater to them. Old western men made Pattaya what it is, and the City owes them a lot. They've made a lot of money off single male tourists, and they are delusional if they think that their filthy ugly mismanaged sh*thole can ever compete as a world class beach resort.
No one in his right mind would bring a family to Pattaya when there are so many prettier places to go. Keep Pattaya like it is, a paradise for old geezers.
