the gentleman was a close friend of her entire family, she is a local businesswoman not a bar girl!.
the woman was and still is in a complete state of shock, she was with him just a few minutes before the accident.
this report was very misleading and whilst it may have looked good to its editor is full of rubbish as far as detail.
for what its worth... he was 69, not 50 as stated!
From respect to his friends and her family I dont see why I should post his name here, but I do wish the PDN would engage its brain before printing :(
When I read about pointless deaths like that. Very sad.If to get a driving licence you had to take the equivalent of the english driving test how many would pass?Yep I think you guessed right.
Just bear in mind that a lot of Thais are like drips of water. Gormless bastards that will always take the shortest route between any two points.
Between Pattaya-tai and Pattaya klang theyr is not 1 safe place to cross that road.
Crossing the streets of Pattaya is a dangerous game. With drivers who lack road manners and other drivers who never took a driving course it really is Russian roulette.

Basically it's Russian roulette every day for those of us who live here and need to cross that road. How about building a pedestrian overpass to stop the frequent injuries and deaths on this road?
If in doubt dont cross or just follow a stray dog of at least 6 years old as they know the Thai roads better than any human.
RIP
