1/3 cup dry sherry
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp honey
1 clove of garlic minced
4 tuna steaks
Combine Sherry, Ginger, Soy Sauce, Honey & Garlic in a Glass Measure. Microwave uncovered on high for one min OR until mixture boils.
Place tuna in a baking dish. …Pour marinade over tuna. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Remove tuna from marinade Reserve marinade.
Preheat a frying pan on high Arrange tuna on hot pan with thickest portions to the edge of pan and brown. Microwave uncovered on high for 2 min. Turn steaks over & baste with marinade.
Microwave on high for 11/2 to 2 minutes. Leave to stand whilst covered for 2 Minutes. Serve with warm marinade with boiled potatoes, pasta, bed of rice or salad
