Chon-Buri, the 3rd of September 2010: Following the double homicide of Master Sahakit Tontrakun [13] and his brother Master Phatthana Tontrakun [9] on the 8th of August, Koh Jan Police Investigators announced the successful arrest of both offenders last week.
Police General Aswin Kwammeung (Assistant Commissioner General) and Major General Niwat Rattana Thammawat (Region 2 Deputy Commissioner) announced the apprehension of Mr. Bancha Seefah [18] and Mr. Saichon Praiwan [34].
In accordance with police procedures, a re-enactment of the murder scene was conducted by officers, however Mr. Praiwan was omitted from proceedings while he underwent further questioning over the case.
Watched by hundreds of local residents along with friends and family of the boys, Mr. Seefah explained how he and Mr. Praiwan had run out of gasoline in their motorbike when the two boys rode past and offered their assistance.

During completing the transaction for the gasoline, Mr. Seefah explained that he observed the pair had at least Bt1,000 in their possession at which point both he and Mr. Praiwan contrived to rob them.
Under the influence of a significant amount of an illicit drug, Mr. Seefah and Mr. Praiwan followed the boys up the road before beating them off their motorbike with a wooden stake. One of the brothers fell from the motorbike and was apprehended by Mr. Praiwan, while the other attempted to flee on the bike but was caught shortly after by Mr. Seefah.
During the re-enactment, Mr. Seefah explained how both boys struggled violently and refused to give up their money, stating that he and Mr. Praiwan had killed the boys having taken more than 30 Ya-Ba pills during the day. The boys had been brutally executed by having their throats cut.

At the conclusion of the re-enactment several attack attempts were made by the relatives and friends of the victims, however a large police contingent at the emotional scene contained the situation.
The two offenders will now be remanded in police custody awaiting further judicial proceedings to commence, while Gen. Kwammeung assured the gathered crowd that police would be seeking the death penalty as punishment.
