The Ferrari FX Club visit the Royal Cliff Beach Resort

Share
Executives from the Royal Cliff Beach Resort welcomed esteemed members of the Ferrari FX Club during their Coast to Coast sprint from Bangkok to Pattaya on 28 – 29 August.

Led by the Royal Thai Police department, the 20 strong Ferrari convoy visited Silver Lake before arriving at the Royal Wing Suites & Spa, one of the four 5 star hotels within the Royal Cliff Beach Resort.

The Ferrari’s were admirably parked outside the five star plus hotel, wherein hotel guests and visitors were able to photograph the beauty of the prancing horse at its best.

Special guests including Khun Patpong Thanavisuth, owner of HiSo Party Magazine and Pol. Maj Apinace Phornphiboon of the Royal Thai Police were escorted to the Caprice Bar and Restaurant to find a magnificent Ferrari shaped ice carving and an elegant selection of cocktails, before enjoying a multi-course meal.

The Ferrari owners retired for the night in the luxury of the Royal Wing Suites & Spa before making their way back to Bangkok the next day.

Situated in a private estate overlooking the radiance of the Gulf of Siam, it is no surprise that the Ferrari FX Club chose the Royal Cliff Beach Resort to rest during their Coast-to-Coast sprint. With two luxurious spas, a world class fitness centre and its own private beach, this resort is truly a world within itself.

Perhaps some corruption based money, or perhaps money from real business. especially Chinese-Thai success. Some are spoiled bratty rich kids, and others are seriously intelligent and educated very nice people.

Import duty makes these cars very expensive in Thailand and the roads only add insult to injury.

Last time I chatted with the owners son at BKK Lambo dealer they had sold 30 cars in one year (about 32-35 million bat /unit)

I am more interested to know how they could afford to buy a 30 million baht car in a country where the average thai earns less a month than the price of a decent pair of shoes. Let guess, daddys an army general, police general or shonky property developer hiring slave burmese labourers.
