Pattaya, the 29th of August 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 00:30am, DSI investigators headed by Colonel Songsak Raksakul along with narcotics control officers and Colonel Nunthawut Suwanla-ong (Pattaya Police Superintendent) raided three gay bar establishments in the Soi Pattaya Land 1 area of South Pattaya.

In total, 90 officers were involved in the raids, which were instigated after several anonymous tip-offs from tourists visiting the area had been received. Allegedly, all three venues, ‘Dynamite Boy Club’, ‘X-boy Club’ and ‘Kawai Boy’ had been involved with nightly explicit sex shows, drug use and distribution as well as underage entertainment and prostitution.
Pattaya DSI, a newly opened division in the area lead by Colonel Raksakul, raided the venues detaining 18 staff. One member of staff was found to be underage, while no reason was given as to the detention of the other 17 employees. Despite their alleged tip-off, the investigations found no evidence of illicit sex shows, or underage prostitution, while no mention was made by officers as to the presence of illegal narcotics.

In conclusion, of the somewhat failed raid, Col. Suwanla-ong of the Pattaya police explained that all police divisions were intensely monitoring the actions of all gay establishments in Pattaya, specifically mentioning that operations displaying explicit sex shows and or supplying underage prostitution were being targeted.

In SOME countries, being gay is illegal. In MOST countries it's legal or at least allowed to be gay.
Glad to read, that Germany still isn't civilized.
This must have been a nice little money spinner for the boys in brown.
This club has paid its way out, if they had not then there are many ways the police could find to prosecute.
Why would a queer come to Pattaya anyway, oh yes to see underage boys in white pants.
Its just wrong to stick your winkle into a starfish, sick queers.
