American Drugged and Robbed by Thai Woman
Pattaya, 28th August 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 01:00 am on Saturday, Lieutenant Colonel Phongsawad Wongwan (Pattaya Police Investigator) was notified of a drugging and subsequent theft of an American tourist, which took place at the S.T. Court, South Pattaya, Banglamung, room no. 7, on the second floor.
Reporting to the Police in the state of semi consciousness from being drugged, Mr. James Edward Porter JR [45] an American national, explained to Lt. Col. Wongwan that he was woken up by staff of the hotel, to find that he had been drugged and robbed by a Thai woman whom he had taken to his room in the early hours of the morning.
Mr. Edward Porter revealed that he had been at a bar in Walking Street, when a Thai Woman approached him and together they both spent some time drinking until he became drunk, after which, he took her to his room where he suddenly lost consciousness.
According to Mr. Porter, the offender stole a gold bracelet [worth 150,000 Baht] a gold Necklace [worth 100,000 Baht] a digital camera [Olympus], Bt200,000 in cash and his passport including his hotel room key.
Initial investigations revealed that the hotel management had not collected any information regarding the identity of the woman, which is a requirement, but there was CCTV surveillance which the officials have inspected and filed.
Investigations will continue in an attempt to apprehend the now fugitive offender.

Why the hotel staff tried to wake him up at that time? Who not in the morning when they did not see him wake up? or his door is open?
Why the key and his passport had gone?
What if the thief [or thieves] were the hotel staff?
They took his passport to stop him report the police ??

Why didn't they ask for the woman's ID card?[ May be they work as a team?]
Why no photos from PDN ? They might be stopped to take photos and report more details about the incident?
