Ingredients:
2kg Chopped Cabbage (white or red)
Salt and pepper to taste
Approximately 25 grams butter
1 Onion chopped
2 cloves garlic crushed
1 Knorrs stock Cube
4 sliced Sausages, thick slices (of your choice. different types will create varying flavours)
½ pint water

Method:
Strip the cabbage from the ribs and wash real good. Cover with lightly salted water and boil 10 minutes, drain the water and let cool a little and then chop cabbage finely.
Heat butter and saute the chopped onion and garlic until lightly brown. Add the cabbage and the stock cube with the water. Cover and simmer for 1/2 hour, if it is too dry add a little more water.
Season with salt and pepper; Add the sausage slices on top, cover and let simmer 10 minutes more. Put cabbage on platter, add sausage slices on top and serve with rice or creamy mash potatoes.
