Pattaya, the 24th of August 2010: At approximately 6:30pm on Tuesday, Lieutenant Colonel Tarathep Toopanich (Pattaya Deputy Superintendent) was notified of a tragic accident involving a young foreign boy at the View Talay 2 Condominiums in Jomtien. A team of officers along with the Pattaya Memorial Hospital emergency team and Sawang Boriboon Foundation personnel were dispatched to the incident.
On arrival, medical officers rushed to the aid of the young boy, Master Michael Labadan Wolfe [4], an American national born in the Philippines, whose father, Mr. Brett James Wolfe [40] was found frantically trying to perform emergency resuscitation procedures.
Unfortunately, Master Wolfe, noted to have been hugely popular with other residents at the condominium complex, died at the scene from his severe injuries. His body has now been taken for post-mortem examinations before being released to his father for funeral proceedings.

Reportedly, Master Wolfe is thought to have been playing on the 10th-storey balcony prior to the incident. He is suspected to have climbed onto a chair adjacent to the railing tragically falling over the edge despite the presence of addition protective wire screening. According to security, Mr. Wolfe was immediately on the scene attempting to revive his son before anyone else had noticed the incident.
Interrogations with one of the building security guards, Mr. Kittisak Wilailak [24], found that Mr. Wolfe was a local Muay Thai instructor and had been staying at the condominium with his beloved son for approximately 5 months. He explained that the young boy was much adored by all staff and residents at the condominium, expressing his sincere sorrow at his passing.
Police are now waiting to obtain a statement from Mr. Wolfe, who is understandably in a state of shock and depression over his beloved son’s tragic death.

I never tried so hard to find a person, I really wanted to tell his father how upsetting this is to someone else, I am 26 and never respond to anything.
But I would have done the same thing.. I will remember this forever... and for you I'll hold my son tighter now. I feel the pain your going through... and at the same time can't comprehend it... I am deeply sorry for your loss... deeply sorry.
