Remembering Mother on Mothers’ Day

A Mothers job is never done. From morning till night she is always on the go, washing and ironing cleaning and scrubbing. She mends she cooks, she sews, she bathes the children, washes their clothes.

Mother becomes doctor when you are ill, applies bandages, gives out pills, helps’ with homework, looks’ for toys or missing things. She is a listener to every heart ache and every accomplishment that a child makes.

She scolds the children when they are naughty, reminding them of God when they get haughty, tends her family with love and patience, this is what Mothers do.

There are times when only a Mothers love can understand our tears, can soothe our disappointments, calming our fears. There are times when only a Mother’s love can share our joy when something we’ve dreamed of becomes quite real.

When you’re a child she walks before you to set examples, when a teenager she walks behind you, to be there should you need her, when you’re an adult, she walks beside you so as friends you can enjoy life together.

Your Mother is always with you, she is the whisper of the leaves on the tree, she is the smell in your laundry, and she is the cool hand on your brow. Your Mother lives inside of you, inside your laughter and your tears. Time nor space, not even death can separate you from your Mother.

Only a Mother’s faith can help us on life’s way, inspiring in us the confidence we need from day to day. A Mother’s heart, her faith and love were fashioned by angels sent from God above.
