Pattaya, the 1st of August 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 5:30pm on Sunday, Lieutenant Colonel Jakkarin Toursuphap (Pattaya Police Investigator) was notified of a potentially fatal car accident near the bypass onramp in North Pattaya. A team of officers were dispatched to the incident to investigate.
Arriving at the scene, officers found the damaged vehicle, a Toyota Yaris, in a patch of bushland underneath the overhead bypass. Reportedly, the two victims of the accident had already been transported to the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.

Closer inspections of the vehicle uncovered a suspicious package, later found to be Ya-Ice, concealed inside a cream coin purse. Also confiscated was a small vial, equipment used to inhale the illegal drug and over Bt10,000 in cash. The total weight of the drugs found is estimated at approximately 4 grams.
Later interrogations of Miss Suksawan Klinhorm [24], a passenger in the accident, revealed that the car had “inexplicably” lost control approaching the scene before crashing over the overpass sidewall. She denied any knowledge of the presence of Ya-Ice in the vehicle.
Interrogation of the driver, Mr. Khajornwit Ngamthanawat [35], will commence upon his discharge from the hospital. Mr. Ngamthanawat was severely injured in the accident.
