Sattahip, the 27th of July 2010 [PDN]: Sattahip Marshall Mr. Chanchai Iemjarern in conjunction with officers from the Naval Drug Battle Unit and the Sattahip Bailiff recently arrested several known local drug dealers and confiscated a substantial quantity of a class-1 restricted narcotic.

Initial investigations aimed at monitoring several suspects in the Pattaya/Sattahip region, led officers to the arrest of Miss Irin Thaowankaew [22]. The arrest was made after an unnamed informant revealed that Miss Thaowankaew was presently using drugs at a hotel in Baan Taotharn Market, Sattahip. Officers swooped, arresting Miss Thaowankaew before confiscating a small quantity of the class-1 restricted drug Ya-Ice and drug taking paraphernalia.
Miss Thaowankaew confessed to having used the addictive drug on many occasions subsequently revealing her supplier, Mr. Thanitchai Sarakhuan [33]. Officers then conducted a sting operation in which Miss Thaowankaew ordered a further 1g of Ya-Ice from Mr. Sarakhuan, to be delivered to the same location for a price of Bt4,500. Arriving at the scene, Mr. Sarakhuan immediately spotted police and attempted to flee, crashing into the hotel stairs before being arrested. Officers found 1g of Ya-Ice in his possession.

Reportedly, under interrogation Mr. Sarakhuan was reluctant to reveal the name of his dealer, who he described as a “powerful person in Pattaya,” but gave up the name of an ex-girlfriend, Miss Salinthip Salee [26], who he alleged, dealt drugs. Organising another sting, Mr. Sarakhuan ordered an amount of 5g of Ya-Ice from Miss Salee to be delivered at the Ambassador City Hotel in Na Jomtien for Bt20,000. Arriving at the pre-arranged delivery point in a black Honda Vios with a friend, Miss Salee was arrested by police and an amount of 5g of Ya-Ice was found in her possession.
Under interrogation, Miss Salee confessed to regularly using Ya-Ice but exclaimed that she never dealt the drugs to anyone, only doing so in this case as Mr. Sarakhuan was her ex-boyfriend. She explained that she had left him recently for a foreign man and felt pity for him when he had called her this evening, agreeing to sell him the Ya-Ice at merely Bt4,000 per gram. She had purchased the drug from a local supplier at Bt3,500 per gram.

Having arrested three offenders, officers temporarily ceased investigations. However, during resultant interrogations Miss Salee gave the name and location of her supplier, who she explained was well known in the Pattaya district. Officers will now recommence their investigations in an attempt to further stifle the illegal drug trade in the region.
Wish they would unleash a major strike on the Pattaya big boys, but lets face it most are high powered players. I for one don't care for the idea that without yaba thai workers can't get by 12 shifs lorry drivers falling asleep ect ect Meth is fucking evil evil drug end off.
