2Pattaya and jomtien don't have beaches. They have tiny strips of sand which can't be seen because they are covered in sun umbrellas and deck chairs which you have to pay for.
Get rid of them all and let the stupid farrangs bring there own towels to the beach.

TOT of Thailand tourists come from the cold to lie in the sun all day and turn red, blister and get sand in the crack of their arse.

This is what makes them happy.

1Were someone to ask me, I'd say low season is the best time in Patts. A much greater percentage of the smiles are real this time of year.
Truly relaxing.

3Nice to see the importance of clean beaches alluded to in this report. There must surely be a few local beach traders rueing the fact that Jomtien is favoured over Pattaya. The solution is simple. Clean up the beach and clean up the acts of some of the operators and spivs who work the beach in Pattaya. The beach is a major asset to Pattaya yet fails to get the protection it deserves.
Beaches in parts of Mediterranean Europe were once huge assets to local economies but were allowed to decline to the extent that revenue declined. Prevention is always better than cure. So come on Pattaya City Council, protect and improve your beach now, before it is too late.
(Rant over, sorry.)
