World Famous New York Pizza House Opens in Pattaya

Share
A pizza house made famous in New York in the late 40’s has had a grand opening in Pattaya, with a number of honory guests and Media in attendance.

Pattaya, 22nd July 2010 [PDN] An official opening of the New York Pizza House, Windmill Plaza, Pattaya- Naklua Road, took place today with the honor of chairing by Khun Damrong Phuttan, a well known MC of the Thai Media who was among honorary guests and Medias. Khun Phuttan blessed the owners Mr. Jeffery Constantino and Mrs. Phimjai Constantino.

An auction for a special pizza menu was held with Khun Phuttan showing his unique pizza cooking skills while Khun Araya from the Windmill Hotel, paid the winning amount of 5,500 baht that is being donated to the Father Ray Foundation.

The New York Pizza House was founded in 1947 in Batavia, in the west of New York by brothers Tony and San Pontillo. The brand became a success and fame spread quickly which led to the opening of 25 new branches in New York.

When Mr. Ronald Constantino married Mrs. Linda, the pair developed their skills providing good tastes with an excellent family recipe. They later opened their own pizza restaurant in Cortland, New York which proved so popular that after Mr. Constantino passed on, the business was taken over by his eldest son Mr. Jeffery R. Constantino. Mr. Jeffery Constantino later married Khun Phimjai Jatuphorn and together opened their first pizza venue in New York style, here in Thailand.

The brother of Mrs. Constantino, Khun Chocchai Jatuphorn traveled to New York to learn the trade before returning to assist in the opening of the New York Pizza House in Pattaya.

New York Pizza House open from 3.00 pm to 12.00 am in Windmill Plaza, call 038-370-122.

To Love Good Pizza,
Thank you for your comment. We do have real italian sausage here and it is homemade with our own family recipe. What in the picture is the sausage that Mr.Dumrong Puttan supplied because he is muslim and cannot eat pork.
Thanks,

I hope this is a real NY pizza and not another pathetic excuse for pizza as usually found in Pattaya. I tried many but never had a pizza in Pattaya. Many were rather bad and I never had one that was more than just acceptable!

The pizza picture looks like it has Thai style "hot dog" sausage and a plain tomato sauce. I will be a regular they have real mozzerella, NY Italian sausage and NY pepperoni.

My personal favorite is mozzerella, Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers and onions on a medium thick crust with a SEASONED pizza sauce.

I wish you success and hope you open a second location in South Pattaya/Jomtien very soon.
