Pattaya, the 20th of July 2010 [PDN]: The snake-like pattern, formed on the concrete outside the third floor of the Big C department store in North Pattaya, was discovered by center staff at approximately 7:00am on Tuesday morning.

The origin of the markings is not yet known, with religious residents and staff speculating that the design was the doing of the Brahman deity, Phaya Naga (serpent god). The marks stretch for approximately 50cm on the concrete and resemble the skin of a snake.
Reporters called to the scene explained how a large gathering of department store staff and locals were present at the scene, paying respect and worshiping what they devise is a religious sign. Investigations revealed that the CCTV in that area of the premise had been inactive due to an unknown technical fault.

Subsequent attempts to clean the area of the markings proved useless as the prominent design remained, further enhancing the gathered crowds suspicions that it was a sign from Phaya Naga.
Phaya Naga or Naga are believed to be ancient serpent like creatures that lived in the Mekong River, specifically in the Laotian region. References to the creature appear heavily in both Brahmin and Buddhist texts. Laotian people believe that the Phaya Naga is the protector of the Laos capital of Vientiane with images and statues in abundance throughout the city.

This shows you just exactly what kind of brain some Thais think with. It is total rubbish and most people know that. What a waist of PDN time. I am sure there is a pedophile story around some where they could write about. Did the police and rescue people show up and arrest anyone for interigation purposes? Maybe there is some grafiti charges that can be laid.
Give us a abreak PDN, or maybe this was it.
That is all...........
I believe that due to the large amount of retired farang caretakers and cleaners in Pattaya that they may have more knowledge about this mircale than the rest of us.
100% sure
I am sorry but I think this story is absolute rubbish.
I mean Phaya Naga shopping at Big C is laughable, the snake would surely shop at Tesco.
The serpent king comes to Big C.
