Announcing the Pattaya Food & Hoteliers Expo ’10

The fourth instalment of the Pattaya Food & Hoteliers Expo has officially been announced for the 5th-7th of August at the Royal Cliff Beach Resort in Pattaya. The much anticipated event has been a feature for the Pattaya tourism, hotel and catering industries over the past 3 years with the 2010 version set to be the biggest and best yet.

Pattaya, the 16^thof July 2010: The Food & Hoteliers Expo has been a key component in the tourism service industry along the eastern seaboard for the past three years, showcasing the high standards of a variety of businesses, namely in the restaurant, café, hotel, resort and bar trades. It is renowned as the largest exhibition of its kind on the eastern seaboard.

The 2010 Food & Hoteliers Expo will feature a variety of exhibitions and competitions of skill in a variety of service industry jobs, including, bartenders, baristas, chefs, cooks, flower arrangers and a variety of other housekeeping professions.

For the first time at this year’s expo, Pattaya and the Eastern Seaboard will play hosts to what is being dubbed the “Pattaya City Culinary Cup.” Involving local, national and international culinary teams, the cup will be to international culinary standards and feature a veritable “cook-off” between some of the industry’s leading experts in fine dining and fusion cuisine.

Other exhibits and competitions of interest scheduled for this year’s expo include:

- The free-style fruit & vegetable carving competition

- The professional enjoyable bed making competition ’10

- The professional floral arrangement competition

- Thailand battle of bartender winner cup 2010

- Fusion food (east meets west) competition by anchor

Also arranged at this years event will be a culinary “trade show” or “exhibition fair” where entrepreneurs and seasoned industry experts can meet to display their products, services and techniques to the visiting public in a range formats. Expected at the fair are exhibitions from food & beverage experts, displays of kitchenware & accessories, tableware & cutlery, cleaning techniques and products as well as displays of the technological and management services employed by some of the hospitality industries leading lights.
