Pattaya, the 12th of July 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 1:00pm, Lieutenant Colonel Pitichon Terdkietkun (Sattahip Police Investigator) was notified of a death in Bang Saray, Sattahip. A team of offices were immediately dispatched to the incident along with the Sawang Rodjanatham Foundation.

At the scene, in the garden of a local food vendors house, officers found the deceased body of Mr. Udorn Romyen [44] (a welder) lying on a wooden garden bed. Apart from a small bruise on the deceased’s neck, there were no signs of an assault or struggle, as such his body was sent to the Sattahip Hospital where a post-mortem
examination will be performed.
Interrogation with the owner of the house and the victim’s brother Miss Naree Romyen [52], revealed that she had lifted him onto the wooden bed after finding him dead on the ground under the nearby hammock. She explained that before leaving to sell food at the local market, Mr. Romyen was asleep in the Hammock. When she returned he was on the ground underneath the hammock, checking on him, Miss Naree realised that he had died and called police.
Police suspect that Mr. Romyen had died of a heart attack or from the impact having fallen from the hammock. Investigations will continue once the results of the post-mortem examination are known.
