US Court Indicts Paedophile Imprisoned in Thailand

Canadian-born US citizen Glen Richard Allen, already imprisoned in Thailand, has now been indicted by a US District Court in his hometown of Seattle. Allen was arrested along with several other men after evidence of his sexual interference with girls as young as 11-years-old came to light in 2007.

Thailand, the 23^rd of June 2010 [PDN]: Thailand’s Crimes Against Women & Children Suppression Division arrested Allen, along with two Brits, Maurice John Praill and Stephen James Ellison and a Finn Ilkka Ylikolola in March of 2007. The four were all charged with several counts of sexually interfering with underage girls.

Already sentenced to 16-years in a Thai prison, the Seattle District Court earlier this month indicted Allen for his heinous crimes. The US Attorney’s Office has released a statement saying that Allen is in and will remain in Thai prison over his offences.

Allen, who retired to the seaside resort town of Pattaya on Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard in 1997, was caught in March of 2007 with a catalogue of some 200-300 DVD’s depicting himself sexually interfering with children as young as 11-years-old. Arrested in his Pattaya City condominium, along with Praill, Ellison and Ylikolola, Allen was eventually sentenced to 16-years in prison by a Thai court. Consequently Praill was found to have been convicted on child sex offenses in Thailand prior to this matter, returning to his ways upon being handed a 14-year suspended sentence.

In the trial Allen was convicted by overwhelming evidence against him which included the testimonies of several of the girls he abused, four of which appeared in charge papers, whilst the alleged “procurer” of the children also testified against him.

The “procurer” told the court; “Allen made it clear that he preferred females, approximately 12 years old.” Allen also reportedly instructed her that if asked why she was bringing children to his residence to say that Allen was providing English lessons. Despite evidence showing the abuse of over 200 girls, catalogued on DVD, no count of the number of videos presented to the court was ever recorded.

Allen’s indictment in the US over his crimes follows a similar case taken against Craig Thomas Carr from Kent, arrested in Cambodia and charged in the US for sex tourism-related crimes.

If you take a brief look at the records of African drug-dealers in bangkok and child abuses during the current prime minister of thailand, you would simply realise the fact that who was a real and strong patriot prime minister; Thaksin shinawatra or abhisit.,During Thaksin office these mother-fucker junkies of the west were strictly warned and banned from any wrong-doing. If there were even a few real thai patriot in the present thai government body, they would have an execution law for such pests that leave their country just for their devil purposes. Thai people must realise this fact that;being kind and having high tolerance doesn't mean that , you let the parasites and pest-borns of other countries abuse your country.

Street Justice: The problem is not with they do with the paedos, they can execute them in the airport for all I care. The problem is that between the feminist cun*ts and the religious schizophrenics in America, this law will open the door to prosecuting all sex tourists, including the vast majority who come here to be with adult women and would not think of harming any child anywhere. By way of explanation, when these criminals have served their time in Thailand, they will be deported to the US. If they are classified as a sex offender in the US, then they are tracked by law enforcement. They have to register with the police in their home town and are restricted from living close to schools. They names and addresses are published on websites so citizens are aware of their location. Ergo, the US wants their crime in Thailand to be recognized as a crime in the US. Otherwise, after the deportation, they escape the sex offender treatment in the US. Now, whether you agree with how the US treats sex offenders of not, the US government is trying to fulfill its obligations to the public there. I don't think they are doing this to short circuit Thai law.

i am glad these animals have been locked up , everytime i took my daughter to carrefour in pattaya these animals were sat near the kids play area .i knew they were paedo's as they have been in the papers here before for child sex offences and i always wondered why they never seemed to stay in jail long .

In the past I've never had particular sympathy for the U.S. government but
in this case I am agree too that to stop such people need all cooperation possible. I would add that the 'evidence of the facts and all the appropriate tests are already in the hands of police who found DVDs and CDs with movies on the allegations.
I hope they can lock much more people like this

the US law regarding sexual offences is relatively new, and only applies to American citizens committing sex offenses outside the US. They will be indicted and tried in court upon their return to the US.
While the legality/Constitionality of this law has not been fully challenged, the intent of the law is to let these sick American pervs know they cannot freely roam the globe and exploit/abuse children in countries with somewhat less stringent resources to fight the global sex trade and exploitation of minors.
