Pattaya, 24th of June 2010 [PDN]: From the 1st floor of Central Festival, Chon-Buri Deputy Governor Songphon Jampaphan, Pattaya TAT Director Niti Kongruit and Pattaya Deputy Mayor Weerawat Khakhai chaired the announcement of the “Eastern Seaboard Colours Festival.”
The 4 day festival, to be held on the 1st-4th of July 2010 along Pattaya’s Beach Road, will include vibrant displays of nature, heritage, culture and traditional influences from 4 provinces of the eastern seaboard including; Chon-Buri, Rayong, Chantha Buri and Trad.

The 4 provinces will exhibit displays of features which best typifies their region of Thailand. The four provinces displays will focus on; Rayong – well-known pristine beaches, luscious fruits and a calm, peaceful atmosphere, Chantha-Buri – natural waterfalls, tropical forests, mountainous regions and ancient temples, Trad – island heritage, natural beauty and rich wildlife, and finally, Chon-Buri – glamour, luxury and city living.
Also organised for the festival will be a water-sports clinic for tourists and local youths to participate, free of charge. Various national athletes and professional instructors will be present at the event to lend a hand.
The festival is expected to further stimulate the faltering local economy whilst providing a fun, entertaining event for locals and tourists alike. Pattaya TAT expects the festival to be viewed by approximately 300,000 people imputing Bt1.6 million into the local economy.
