American Arrested on Child Sex Charges in Thailand’s North
Thailand, the 17th of June 2010 [PDN]: An American man has been arrested in Thailand’s Northern Province of Chiang Mai on Wednesday. He was apprehended after reports surfaced that he had been engaging in sexual acts with a 10-year-old girl.
According to provincial tourist police, Mr. Wilbert Willis Holley [72] had been sexually interfering with a 10-year-old female school student at a guesthouse in the province of Chiang Mai.
Mr. Holley was arrested after investigators received a report from the alleged victim that she had been molested several times in a local guesthouse. At present the suspect has denied all charges being levelled against him whilst investigators continue to maintain that they have overwhelming evidence against him.
A search of Mr. Holley’s residence will be conducted later this week in an attempt to uncover further evidence of the suspect’s involvement in paedophilic acts.
Meanwhile a joint Anti-Human Trafficking taskforce has successfully apprehended a forth member of a human trafficking syndicate upon her return to the Kingdom from Bahrain.
Miss Aritsa Iammuang [24] is the forth member of a network of Thai woman and Bahraini men who have been under investigation for several months. The syndicate is thought to have been using various methods to lure Thai woman to Bahrain in order to work as prostitutes against their will.
The investigations, involving the Social Development and Human Security Ministry, Crime Suppression Division of Human Trafficking and the Immigration Division, have arrested three other suspects involved with the gang after their methods had been unravelled by two Thai women deceived by their ways reported to the Thai embassy in Bahrain last year.
Two more Thai nationals are believed to be involved in the illegal transnational trafficking syndicate and remain at large. Under the Anti-Human Trafficking Act, over three persons colluding in crimes of this nature constitutes an organised network. Punishments usually include 10-20 years jail.

And yes, Americans provide more aid than any other country in the world. But I guess you have forgotten the aid the Americans provided England 60 years ago, after all the Americans forgave you for killing many great American Patriots during the US Revolutionary War

Wow, don't lower yourself to such lame stereotypes. Hundreds and hundreds of Americans (and other nationalities) do good honest work in the Chiang Mai area and throughout Thailand. Don't let one or two sick individuals taint the whole bunch. Time you made some good American friends and see for yourself.
