Pattaya, the 10th of June 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 5:00pm on Thursday, reporters were informed by local residents of the Kitthawee Rungrueng Village in Soi Nernplabwan, Banglamung of the rare creatures’ presence.
Arriving at the scene a large crowd had gathered to view the strange creatures which were positioned in a group of 4 or 5 on a small collection of flowers. Many residents had exclaimed how they had recently observed these bugs on the television but had not truly believed that they could have existed.

The family of bugs was discovered by Satawat Huanaworn [10] who had been playing in the garden when he came across the strange creatures with a human facial design on their armour. Running into the house to call his mother, a small crowd of neighbours and local residents gathered to get a glimpse of the weird bugs, some descrided the face to look like that of a giant or an angle.
Stink bugs have glands in their thorax between the first and second pair of legs which produce a foul smelling liquid when they are threatened or feel in danger. Adults have piercing mouthparts which most use to suck sap from plants, although some eat other insects. When they group in large numbers they can become significant pests and are highly resistant to all forms of generally used pesticide.
