Pattaya, the 31st of May 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 7:30pm on Monday, police Lieutenant Colonel Kreetha Tonkhanarat (Children & Woman Protection Center Region 2 Superintendent) and a team of inspectors actioned a search warrant on a premises in Huay Yai, Pattaya. The search warrant was issued for the premise which was suspected to have been a major manufacturing facility for homosexual pornographic DVD’s.
During the raid of the premises, a 376m2 single storey house, police presented the Pattaya City Court search warrant to the owner, Mr. Prasertsak Itthiyaphorn [33], who willingly uncovered the illegal operation that he was hiding in a room at the rear of the house. A search of the room uncovered an elaborate DVD manufacturing setup including, computer system, printers, label makers, DVD printers, 2,000 blank DVD’s, over 5,000 cellophane packaging’s and numerous printouts/copies of obscene homosexual DVD covers. Also confiscated in the raid was approximately 1,000 ready-for-sale homosexual pornographic DVD’s.
During interrogations, Mr. Itthiyaphorn confessed to being a major supplier of pornographic DVD’s and that he
had been distributing his merchandise all along the Eastern Seaboard, specifically in the Pattaya City region. He explained that the production cost per DVD was approximately Bt20 with a sales cost of approximately Bt80-100. Mr. Itthiyaphorn stated that his business had been increasingly popular in the Pattaya area, specifically the Sunee Plaza, Walking Street and Dongtan regions of the city.
Police Lt. Col. Tonkhanarat explained that the suspect had been known to police for several months whilst investigations into the pirate DVD market was being scrutinised. He also revealed that along with copies of original pornographic material an increase in locally produced homosexual pornography is being found for sale on the streets of Pattaya.
Mr. Itthiyaphorn has now been charged with manufacturing and distributing obscene material and pirate merchandise. He will remain in police custody whilst further judicial proceedings are forthcoming.

Gay porn really isn't my thing, though I have been known to purchase the occasional heterosexual dvd, but in a few years time the trade will die off as more and more people get broadband internet and download their dodgy stuff like that.
Just because it's homosexual, doesn't mean that it's obsene.
Animal porn is obsene, watching fat hairy pensioners rattle teenage girls is obsene.
This guy probably didn't pay the police protection money because of dwindling sales resulting from the recent troubles.
Shame on the BIB. Surely keeping sexual devients off the street and wanking at home is preferable to the alternative.
