Pattaya, the 24th of May 2010 [PDN]: Owner of Sukhawadee and Sahafarm ltd, Dr. Panya Chotithewan has announced that he will open the Sukhawadee House in Naklua to the public over the 27th and 28th of May in order to stage a Buddhist ceremony aimed at “Healing the Nation.”

Various Buddhist leaders have been invited to attend the ceremony, including the abbot of Thunghiang Temple in Chon-Buri, Laug Pu Boon and 16 other highly regarded Buddhist monks from varying regions of the Kingdom. In addition, famous Thai ceremonial speaker Mr. Chinnakorn Krailat will attend the event along with an unnamed Royal Brahmin priest.
The ceremony, to be staged overnight on the 27th of May (commencing at 9:00pm), will include a mass prayer and various traditional Buddhist teachings, whilst the honorary monks are expected to preach peace, love and harmony to the population. The emphasis of the ceremony will be placed on renewing Thai cultural and religious values and continuing with the sustainable economic development of the nation.

Following the overnight meditation and prayer the congregation will descend on Naklua beach at 8:00am for another Buddhist ritual, where the audience will sgather to worship the previous Kings of Thailand and their spirits along with various other holy spirits and those of the deceased.
All local and foreign residents of the city and surrounding regions have been cordially invited to attend the overnight vidual and proceeding worship ceremony at the Sukhawadee House in Naklua. The only condition is that all guests are required to adorn white robes/cloth as is the tradition at such ceremonies.
