At a time when Thailand is appearing in the international media spotlight for all the wrong reasons, Ms. Wannachutha expressed her pleasure at presenting a more positive image for Thailand stating, “I was absolutely thrilled to have been chosen to represent Thailand in this prestigious competition, and to win third place is just a dream come true.”

Ms. Wannachutha is no stranger to the media spotlight having placed in the top 10 contestants at the 2009 Miss Thailand World contest. More recently she was involved in the filming of a Pepsi commercial destined for the Pakistani market, further subjugating Thailand’s credentials as a hub for advertising productions in the region.
“I hope with this recognition I will be able to represent Thailand more and more in the future in events such as this as well in other marketing in initiatives aimed at promoting Thailand to the world,” Ms Nanthawan added.
