The British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT) usually sticks to traditional long established venues for their Eastern Seaboard networking evenings around Pattaya. However this time they tried the new Australian style Beach Bar & Grill, situated not far from the “Hardrock Hotel” on Central Pattaya’s Beach Road.

Pattaya, the 27th of April 2010 [PDN]: This new location was a huge success, because its spacious air conditioned bar inside backed up by plenty of space on the garden terrace outside made it very relaxing. For extremely large gatherings there is also an adjacent large outdoor restaurant, which can be utilized to extend visitor capacity enormously.

The Australian Managing Director, John Woolvett, has created a real “laid back” Aussie atmosphere, with a friendly, comforting “down under” feeling that only Australians seem to be able to create, as part of their culture of mate ship. The buffet style restaurant food was of a varied nature, with a good range of popular dishes, and the bar specializes in a wide range of popular beers.

This is because the bar owner John and his business associate Bob Murray are the Directors of the “Fluid Asia” beer importing and distribution company. The “Fluid Asia” company was officially advertised as the official sponsors for this popular evening and as well as their currently wide range of beers, they are negotiating to enter an agreement with a leading world beer producer.

British Chamber (BCCT) members agreed that this was a superb new networking evening venue, so keep this new Australian style Beach Bar & Grill in mind for future visits.
