Pattaya, 6th April 2010: Police Lieutenant Colonel Chaiyaphon Thongnaphieng Banglamung Police Investigator was notified of a robbery at the gold shop, 42 /121, Moo2, Soi Nongketyai, Naklua, Banglamung, Chon Buri. The officer and the superintendent along with their team subsequently went to the scene to investigate.

On arrival at the goldsmiths, located inside the 3-storey shop house, Police found the visibly shaken victims, Mr. Luechai Phu-am [48] and Mr. Soiphet Phu-am [46] proprietors of the shop waiting to provide statements to the officers. They reported that before the incident occurred, a young woman [20-25] wearing a pink cap came to the shop, asking to see a 3 baht gold necklace and a 2 baht gold bracelet. She spent around 10 minutes examining the items, in the pretence of purchasing them.

At this time, a man who appeared to be the woman’s husband [25] came into the shop taking the goods valued at 90,000 baht whilst the owners were distracted. The pair fled on a Yamaha Fino motorbike, registration unknown, heading down Soi Rong Maikheed. The owners ran after them in order to shoot, but the barrel of the gun had seized, leaving the suspects to make their escape.
The officers believed the suspects were a couple who had planned the robbery acting as customers in order to put their plan into action. However recordings from 9 CCTV on the premises will be examined in the hope of identifying the two thieves to bring them to justice.

Would you really kill someone because of 5 Baht Gold? Are you kidding me?
You have them on CCTV. So let Police do their work. And take the Gun from that People immediately before somebody get really hurt. They are so greedy to safe the cost for an Security Guard in front of their door but want to shoot around as in Wild Wild West....tststs
