Bangkok, the 7th of April 2010 [PDN]: Aimed at forcing the Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to dissolve parliament, Thousands of red shirt protesters massed outside parliament gates this morning, forcing lawmakers to flee the scene, some jumping over the walls in an attempt to escape the confrontation.

At approximately 11:00am, hundreds of protesters, with the use of a truck, rammed through the gates, storming into the government compound. Due to the low number of lawmakers present, the lower house’s session had already been suspended and no violence has been reported at present.
Secretary General of the House of Representatives, Pitoon Pumhiran stated; “They used a truck to break the gate, but so far there is no violence yet.” Further adding, security officers and police were intensively monitoring the protestors to ensure a peaceful outcome to the latest incident.

Allegedly, Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva left the cabinet meeting upon hearing of the situation at parliament house and is reported to be ‘holed-up’ in a military barracks on the northern outskirts of Bangkok.

This latest incident follows the Thai cabinet’s decision to extend the tough new security law for a further two weeks, prompted by the red shirts refusal to leave the main
commercial districts of the capital. This would then substantially alleviate the damaging effects that the rallies are having on the Bangkok and Thai economy. The current three week long protests and disturbances are estimated to have cost Thai businesses over Bt10 billion in revenue.
Further to the disturbances at parliament house, a series of grenade attacks have been reported in and around the city, one at the Democratic Party Headquarters injuring two police officers. A volatile homemade explosive device has also been successfully defused at the front gates to Bangkok’s Chulalongkorn University.
Name one demonstration around the world that can be cleared forcefully without casualties? (Newton's law.)
Why does the minority (Educated, Rich and Elite) believe they are not willing to subsidise the poor majority?
If you think you have the majority support, why are you afraid of election?
How come the red-shirts suffer more casualties than the soldiers and police since the red-shirts were accused of using live ammunitions?
If not because of the pink shirt, do you think the red shirt will rally at Ratchaprasong for revenge?
In fact, (pink, yellow or blue) shall swallow their rewards for representing the ...
The only way to stop the pink, yellow or blue is to go after their finance supporters.
Who is more peaceful?
minority vs majority?
The story may be different if Thaksin has invested on his own personal Strike (Training, weapons and peotective gears) force.

put simply: when the old man croaks; the existing power brokers need an ally in charge
understand that the government has no power anymore. They are probably frightened.
Why take action now, when no action was taken when the Democrats yellow shirt wing, was allowed to demolish the parliament house, during the 3 months siege and invasion of the airport.
