Men’s greatest concern through the ages, is hair loss, with some men developing a receding hairline, going on the leaving them with a horse shoe shape around the back and sides of their head.

Hair loss in males happen when the hair follicles shrink and produce increasingly fine hair, until hair no longer grows. The causes can be genetic or caused by changes in testosterone, the male sex hormone. Though testosterone is found in women, the levels determine the physical difference between men and women, including the degree of hairiness.

Male hair loss is not a problem that is taken lightly, with more than half the male population suffering from hair loss to some degree the medical community has been working hard searching for cures and treatments.

Many men have to prepare for the day when they realize that they will be joining the group of those who are bald. It can be a tough issue. There is quite a strong chance that if your Father of Grand Father was bald then you will inherit the condition.  Many men are comfortable with baldness while others go in search of treatment.

Being bald is of no consequence to most people male and female alike.  It is just the same as growing older and developing wrinkles or more weight.  It is a natural process.  If a female will only date men with a head full of hair, she would be classed as extremely shallow, but her present man could end up totally bald in later life so she may need to have a rethink.

If a man said he preferred women with large breasts and long legs, he would be labeled a chauvinistic fool, yet there are women who look for men with a head full of hair as if it is a sign of success to date men with thick locks. Men who purposely shave their head either because they are in the armed forces or just because of fashion are considered attractive and even sexy.

Females of all ages have ideas of what makes a man hot and sexy, with women every where learning that hair doesn’t make the man and finding that some hair styles on men can be very off putting.

First things first, having a bald head has nothing to do with poor health. It is part of the ageing process just the same as developing sagging boobs and wrinkles. Balding, is a gradual process that affects men in different stages of their lives.

Many women are attracted to bald men, but with it must come personality and a sign of confidence. The problem for many men, who have lost or are losing their hair, is their confidence. A lot of men will turn to shaving their heads while others will seek ways of covering it up.  A woman would much rather be with a totally bald guy to one who has a sweep over style.  A man has to learn to live with not having much hair which does not happen in an instant. If a guy is going bald, take the bull by the horns and shave it off.  If a woman judges you by your hair and looks, then she is not worth knowing in the first place.  Remember half the population of women will love you, hair or no hair.

You must have heard the saying, ‘You can not judge the book by its cover,’ well this refers to many women who don’t really mind what their man looks like as long as the personal chemistry is there. A man who is confident regardless of the amount of hair, is considered ‘hot’. Men who are bald, but feel really good about themselves exude strength, confidence, passion and masculinity which in turn make them sexy and appealing.
