Muslim Extremists Massacre 500 Christian Women & Children

Muslim extremists raided a village on the outskirts of the Nigerian city of Jos recently, killing over 500 Christian woman and children. According to Nigerian Christian leaders, the violence is part of an Islamic Jihad against Christian minorities in northern Nigeria.

Nigeria, March 2010 [PDN]: Muslim extremists invaded the village of Dogo Nahawa at 2:00am, slaughtering Christians with machetes. In some cases, the Muslims wiped out entire families. Of those murdered, 380 were buried in a mass grave. The police have arrested 93 people and recovered various guns, knives and other types of weapons from the suspects. During the attack, the Muslims burned down a Roman Catholic Church, the Evangelical Church of West Africa and the Church of Christ in Nigeria.

General Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria Reverend Chuwang Avou said that he had received calls regarding the attack from villagers almost immediately after the massacre commenced. Informing security officials Reverend Avou stated that they attended the scene however did not attempt to intervene and stop the massacre, even stopping Christian residents of a nearby village from entering the area to provide aid.

Reverend Avou, said, “Christians are intimidated. We need assistance from outside Nigeria because we don’t have confidence in this country. We have lost confidence in the security forces in our country . . . . Military people, especially the army, are taking sides. We want the United Nation to come to our aid.”

Nigerian Christian leaders have expressed their outrage over the Muslim attack, which has been labelled “ethnic” violence by the media and politicians. Church leaders said that the Muslims are bent on forcefully converting everyone in Plateau State to Islam believing that the attack was Jihadist movement that has been sweeping the Nigerian Muslim community in recent times. Reverend Avou added, “The Muslims have training grounds in Nigeria, and they get their weapons from outside the country.”

His absoloute faith in the Almighty Allah and his trust in his companions and people is what made him the most influential personality. I again post links of hundreds of christians attacking other religions or may be all u anti mohammedans no about what Bush did in Afghanistan and American Governement as a whole in Iraq. Thats called spritiual terrorism. A christian is allowed to go and kill someone and thats ok but if a muslim does that, its terrorism. Not every muslim is a terrorist neither every terrorist is a muslim.

Were went wrong i remember this Nigerian Muslim and Christian community was living together for so many years, must be something is cooked behind, i wish and i hope this community they will solve their differences in peace way instead of taking law in their hands i hpoe they will forget the past and control their hearts, otherwise it be disaster, there is people ready to exagarate and put more oil in the fire, I appeal to all of you over there to take right step and make right solution to solve this problem and leave in peace like before please forget the past, i think no other best solution than this, to mistake is not a mistake but to repeat a mistake is a mistake.
