Pattaya Police Apprehend Thai Youth Gang Rapists

Pattaya police successfully apprehended a gang of 4 Thai youths who have been accused of gang raping a 15 year old girl on two separate occasions. Police investigations began after the young girl and her parents came to police following the second assault.

Pattaya, the 8^th of March 2010 [PDN]: Late on Monday evening, police Lieutenant Colonel Kreetha Tonkhanarat (Region 2 Chief of the Woman & Children Trafficking Office) along with a team of officers from the Banglamung Police Station announced the successful apprehension of a group of 4 suspected gang rapists. The gang is alleged to have deceived their young victim into meeting with them on two occasions before they subsequently raped her.

Arrested at a house in Khao Maikaew, Banglamung were; Mr. Tarin Jantharasuthi [19] from Rayong 2. Mr. Khomsan Phuraya [19] from Khao Maikaew, Banglamung 3. Mr. Theeraphon Prasongsuk [20] from Rayong and 4. Mr. Mana Klinjanhorm [18], all four men have been positively identified by the victim as the offenders.

Miss Joy (alias) [15] a year 9 high school student, recently visited the Banglamung Police Station along with her parents in order to file a report of two separate rape incidents against the aforementioned 4 men. Miss Joy has stated that one of the men, Mr. Prasongsuk had been her boyfriend of approximately one month prior to the first incident. She explained to police that he had, on the night of the 15^th of January 2010, deceived her into meeting with him in Khao Maikaew, arriving at the scene he raped her and proceeded to let his 3 friends also take part in the assault.

Two days after the first incident occurred, on the 17^th of January 2010, Miss Joy explained that Mr. Prasongsuk had once again called her to meet with him under the false pretence that he was going to apologise and clear the air between them. Once again she went to meet him and was again raped by Mr. Prasongsuk and his 3 friends whilst another female friend of the group, Miss Na, operated as a lookout. Following the second incident Miss Joy informed her parents of the assaults who subsequently took their daughter to inform police.

Mr. Prasongsuk, believed to be the gang leader, confessed his guilt to police in regards to the two incidents, explaining that the group had committed several similar acts at his home whilst drunk and sexually frustrated. All 4 men have been retained in police custody awaiting further judicial proceeding to commence.

I do not see where any of the comments in any of the ones made deserve the crap critisisim that you have seen to level at them. Most of the comments were against the guys and failure to understand the reasons for the girl not reporting in the first instance. I am sure we realize the traumatic physcological stress that the girl may have gone through but that is history and the important thing for her now is to get phycological help. It may have been that she was scared about being pregnant from the first time and the second gave her the immediate reason to complain. Who Knows?? I don't care what your qualifications are or not, but you do not have to be so harsh in your statements.

And by the way, it seems to me that you might also be of British decent yourself if the first three letters of your surname are any indication. McDonald maybe? Who knows and frankly, who the hell cares........So, go back to your Lowland or Highland hut and wash your mouth out. Oh, I'm sorry I forgot you may not be the washing type. The psychology of adolescent rape victims is such that a rape can easily go unreported because the victim is either psychologically fragile, mentally ill or just scared. In respect to the ignorant ones that consider male rape humourous, it is not. It is still a rape and a crime. The the penalty for rape is a jail sentence not another sex crime. Incredibly ignorant comments indicative of humanoids at the low end of both intellectual and social development. Stay in your English council flat slums please.

I certainly hope that the female friend who acted as lookout in the second instance is being charged with the crime of rape as well. No mention of that, just the guys. Why didn't they just take out their frustrations on the lookout girl instead and then everything would have been ok, right? haha!! I wonder how many other girls have fallen pray to their gang operation. They say they have done this before. Sooo??
Another thing, why don't the Thai authorities keep the suspects separate while in custody. Seems to me that co-oberation of stories can be made even in the presence of the police. Strange methods.....
PDN, see what you can find out about the lookout female suspect. Women to can be charged with rape and this is one good example of one who should. Accessary to the act of rape should carry the same punishment.

why did the girl nad to wait until after the 2nd rape before she had to tell her parents about the case.Did she enjoyed the scene after the first incident?? if not then did she not tell her parents????meaning if her boyfriend would have apologised after the first rape incident so it would not have come to the notice of both her parents and the police???? hahahaha what an amazing country.
