Pattaya 7th March 2010[PDN]: At 3.00 am Police Lieutenant Colonel Klitsakorn Thorngin, Pattaya Police investigator, received information of a shooting by a young male in Soi. Sakaw, Beach Road, Moo 10, Nongprue, Banglamung. Subsequently the Officer rushed to the address to investigate.
At the scene, which was single row of rental rooms where Mr. Bass Mahaman [21] from Bangkok was staying, the Officer did not find a shotgun, but discovered that a black Honda Wave S 125 motorbike, registered in Rayong and parked outside, was a vehicle which had been formerly reported as being stolen.
On questioning, the suspect admitted that he had been shooting up in the air, but was only showing off and had passed the gun on to his friend before the Officer’s arrival. He continued that he had bought the motorbike from a friend knowing it had been stolen.
The Officer filed his report, though not able to charge the suspect for possession of a firearm as there was not enough evidence available, the suspect was charged for purchasing a motorbike, knowing it to have been stolen, and will be kept in custody for further proceedings.
The Officer will notify the owner of the motorbike in order for it to be returned.

To the buffoon that felt it necessary to comemnt on one of the policeman's body size, I would expect that the officer is in good enough shape to arrest should the need arise, and that is all that matters. Please be respectful of the police that have to deal with farangs behaving badly and Thai thugs.
