Pattaya, 7th March 2010: [PDN] At 12.30pm police Lieutenant Colonel Somnuk Janket, Banglamung police Superintendent along with his team, responded to a report of a blue Mitsubishi Lancer that was seen being driven on the road that runs parallel to the railway line near the Pattaya train station, Banglamung in a suspicious manner.
The Officers apprehended the driver, identified as Mr. Kamphol Danglang [33], from Nakhornratchasrima and in doing so, discovered 2 bags of Yah – Ice with a street value of 2,000 baht in his possession.
Mr. Danglang who worked at Pattaya City Hall as an assistant drawing engineer was subsequently arrested and held at the Pattaya Police Station for further investigation.

During the questioning, Mr. Danglang stated that he had purchased the Yah – Ice from an agent known as Mr.Yai in Soi Nongketyai, Banglamung for his own use. The price of the substance was 1,000 baht for each bag containing 0.4 gram. He confessed to having used Yah – Ice over a long period of time before being charged with possession of the class 1 drug Yah – Ice. He has been held in custody for further proceedings.
