Pattaya's Dicey Reilly's pub and restaurant held a ‘Charity Bingo’ event on Tuesday night. The event was in aid of a number of charitable projects arranged by the Navy League Charity Appeal of the US.

Pattaya 3rd March 2010 [PDN] Yesterday evening, a charity bingo event was held in order to raise funds for a number of projects run by the Navy League Charity Appeal at the Dicey Reilly’s bar and restaurant.  These events for raising much needed funds are held on an ‘as required basis’, so an eye on the upcoming events calendar is required.

Prizes for the bingo varied, from sports caps to slow cookers, two tickets to a golf tournament with a value of 3,000 baht each, electric BBQ grill, DVD players, fridge, 21 inch TV to name but a few, with the star prize being a washing machine.

An excellent hot buffet meal was included in the entrance price which involved one free game of bingo, the rest being bought before each game played.

The charities that are sponsored by the Navy League include the refurbishment of Marbachang School, lunches for the elderly homes and blind school, not forgetting the Banglamung Hospital which will be presented with much needed medications donated by the US Navy today.

Theses events are crucial in order to keep up the donations to these very worthy projects.

Dirk...yes been there. lovely inside as well as out. excellent food. very roomy and comfortable but quite pricey. 75baht for cup of tea, 60 baht for coke. Didn't consume alcohol as was driving but it wasn't cheap but then as it is said, you get what you pay for. It is table service which was quite slow. pool table in back ground and live music on certain days. Would we go again? Yes, but not often
