Pattaya, the 24th of February 2010 [PDN]: Instead of normal stage plays, our inventive “Le Café Royale” restaurant has come up with the unique concept of holding plays within restaurants, while their audience drinks and dines with delight on fine fare. This concept has seen the evolvement of some very hilarious slap-stick comedy that has absolutely delighted their audiences.

This latest theatrical production was set in Boyz-Town’s very popular “Le Café Royale” restaurant and piano bar who kindly put on an exquisite menu especially for the occasion. The story line is centered around a family dinner in a small bistro, where the family matriarch (and hypochondriac“), Rosemary (Foo Smith) is hosting her birthday party. Everything is normal until someone in this group gets murdered, then the accusations begin to fly.

Enter Detective Harris (Thor Halland), to try and solve this mystery, with much advice from local Pattaya diners in our “Le Café Royale” restaurant, so the plot continues to thicken. No, – you do not find out who done it until the very end, so they do not spoil your suspense. Our final comment is that our “Pattaya Players” Theatrical Group are no longer a group of “amateur professionals, but have come of age and are now a group of very professional, part time actors.
