Pattaya, February 2010 [PDN]: Powerful promotion equals success, so the “Burapha Bikers Week” was again held in Pattaya and started with a biker’s parade around the city. This finished at the “Hardrock Hotel” on Pattaya’s Beach Road and then it was back to the huge outdoor stadium facilities at Soi Chaiyapruek-1 in Jomtien, where nearly all of the events were held.

On the big stage there were continuous shows every evening, with drinks, food and fun for everyone, which made this a “must see” event .Bikers came from all around Thailand, plus there were a large number of overseas visitors, and some even chose to camp on site in amongst the trees.
Pretty ladies fitted in perfectly with stands with the stands of famous brand name bikes, such as Harley. Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki & BMW, and likewise there were many independent sellers of accessories and anything else that was relevant to bike week.

PDN interviewed the President of the Burapha Bike Club, Khun Jumin, who stated, – This “Burapha Bikers Week” was the most successful ever held, and our strong promotional campaign resulted in10% of overseas bikers gaining recognition of this popular event.” Khun Jumin went on to say, – “Even though there was well over 1-million baht in cash receipts, the cost of running such an event runs into millions of baht. However, our objective is not to make huge profits, but to offer a free event to bikers from both Thailand and around the world.”

We also interviewed Steve, who is a veteran Harley biker, and has attended every Thai bikers event n the last 10-years. Steve said, – I have seen this “Burapha Bikers Week” get stronger every year, so it is definitely the best in Thailand, and is now widely recognized by bikers around the world.” So here we have something that is now prominent on the Thai entertainment calendar, where all people can gather in a strong spirit of peace & friendship.
