In the four decades that
Sunseeker has been building boats it has evolved from a brand into an icon. To possess a Sunseeker has become an aspiration for many, to some an obsession. To own a Sunseeker is to buy into a style and to make the ultimate lifestyle statement. Throughout the story of Sunseeker there runs one dominant thread: constant innovation, be it in design, performance, technology or luxury, this pursuit of excellence is the stuff of iconic status. Exemplified by the fact that Sunseeker craft have featured in the last 4 James Bond films and they are one of the few manufacturers with full order books up to 2013.
At 40 meters long this new super yacht will be the flag ship of an ever increasing Sunseeker fleet berthed here in Phuket. This $20,000,000 Yacht will feature many of the innovative design concepts the Sunseeker brand has become globally famous for.
Max Marines MD, Craig Murphy has lived in Phuket for over 15 years “I am so pleased that after 6 months of design and negotiations I am able to confirm the yachts arrival so soon after such a great Boat Show in January. I have seen the industry develop slowly over the last 10 years but this year’s show attracted so many serious buyers which is not only a credit to the organisers but proves the luxury boat market here in Thailand is rapidly maturing to a level that competes worldwide”
Certainly the sale of Sunseekers 40 Meter Yacht and the volume of new sales announced after the show by all the leading yacht distributers add weight to Mr Murphy’s statement.
Having worked for Sunseeker in the Mediterranean, Sales & Service Manager Iain Davie, sums it up. “Phuket is quickly becoming a leading location for luxury pleasure craft that already competes with areas of the Med. I cannot remember such an exciting time to be involved in this industry”.
