Pattaya, the 17th of February 2010 [PDN]: Sixteen immaculately attired young girls, bravely paraded along the big Bali Hai stage cat-walk, after first having to perform their own short rehearsal. Some chose to sing, while most performed various dance routines using all sorts of traditional Chinese props, such as fans, brightly coloured balls, sashes, ribbons and even swords.

Amongst the spectators, there were plenty of photographers, who did not miss the opportunity to take some excellent pictures and videos, of these attractive young performers. After the field of 16-contestants was narrowed down to just five, the most difficult part came just before the final judging, when these small girls had to answer an instant question.

After a final parade down the cat-walk, a winner was selected from our tiny Pattaya contestants, but no matter what their respective placings, they were all winners, who stole the hearts of the crowd. Pattaya’s Mayor, Khun Ittiphol Khunplome and other officials were on hand to present trophies and as well as the 7,000 baht cash prize for the winner, each young lady received 1,000 baht in cash.
