Kids Promote Healthy Food At Pattaya City Hall

Pattaya’s local school children led the way in promoting healthy food at a recent meeting staffed by adult volunteers. Up until the year 2013, a long range plan has been formulated to eat healthier food and stay free from sickness.

Pattaya – Wednesday 17th February 2010 [PDN]: – Everyone including Pattaya City officials, are becoming more health conscious as the years go by, so it is fitting that Pattaya City Hall should be the centre for a new initiative to alter the bad eating habits of some people. The first stage of this campaign was initially begun in November 2009, and will go through until September 2010, with the focus being on being responsible for what we eat.

This is not a short lived promotion, but something that will continue through until 2013, with the next phase being a series of seminars, backed up by news letters. The preparation of the results of these seminars will also include the presentation of awards to the appropriate persons. All of this will be in conjunction with the co-operation of local schools, who will assist with the distribution of information. The main point of the seminars and the education process will be to get people to eat healthy products and to be safety conscious as far as food & drink is concerned.

Our local school children assembled at Pattaya City Hall and really led the way, with speeches and play acting to show up the disadvantages of eating unhealthy food. Many of the children brought along samples of healthy food, just to highlight what it means to eat good, nutritious food and stay healthy. .
