Property consultants, who are affiliated with the Real Estate Brokers Association – Eastern Seaboard (REBA-ES) saw 14-Pattaya members pass the four day Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) examinations in Bangkok recently.

Pattaya, – Friday 12th February 2010 [PDN]: – This CRS course is ran by the “Thai Appraisal Foundation” (TAF) and is in co-operation with the National Association Of Realtors (NAR) USA. It consists of four very intensive days of training in all aspects of real estate brokerage, and at the end of each day there is a 45-minute written examination.

 

REBA-ES President Mrs. May Watson stated that it was very gratifying to see that all of the 14-members from Pattaya passed this rather difficult examination with “flying colors.” The 45-participants in this course came from the ASEAN region, including a wide variety of major cities in Thailand, and this is the first time that this NAR – CRS course has been held in Thailand.

This Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) examination was designed for real estate professionals from agency firms, plus development and investment companies. It is backed by the American NAR, which was founded in Chicago on 12^th May 1908, and it is the largest trade organization with over 1.5 million members.

The local REBA-ES organization has started real estate information programs on “Mix 88.5 FM Radio,” which take the format of question and answer radio shows on 17^th 7 24^th Feb, plus 3^rd 17^th & 24^th March. The next REBA-ES meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 10^th March in the “Chabba Room’ at South Pattaya’s Marriott Hotel.
