Pattaya 7th February 2010 [PDN] Pattaya City Hall in room 401, Deputy Mayor Ronkid Ekasing chaired the 7th Bike week meeting. In addition, Thailand Tourism Authority Mr. Niti Kongkrut, Thailands Big Bike Club Chairman Mr. Prasarn Niphaji and members, Burapha Motorcycle Group and involving officers, including Pattaya Police Station, Banglamung Police Station and Haui Yai Police Station had participated in the meeting.
Mr. Niphaji explained that the event will be held on 12th February 2010 and will have a variety of big and classic bikes, starting at he the beginning of Chaiyapruk 1 Road, going along Sukhumvit Road, turning left into North Pattaya Road, passing through the Pattaya Beach Road and Walking Street heading for Pratamnuk Hill overpass to go straight to Jomtien Beach Road, passing Dongtan Curve and turning left onto Chaiyapruk 1 Road again before moving on to the Stadium in Chaiypruk @ Road, the event location.
The activity will include KSR competition, Para Motor Racing, Thailand Audio Championship competition and the performance on stage. It is expected to have 1,000 bikes from the regions with approximately 40,000-50,000 tourists joining the event, exceeding the 20 million baht possibility. The entire income from the event will be given to the charity supporting Pattaya and nearby regions. In addition, officers will be provided to look after and assist in the flow of traffic on the parade routes and also the safety at the event.
