The first Borvin Mini HALF Marathon has been announced by Sriracha administrators and will feature three separate race events for the entrants.

Sriracha, the 28th of January 2010 [PDN]: At the community meeting hall of the Borvin Sub-district of Sriracha, Deputy Chief Administrator Thanongsak Phuangoi chaired a meeting announcing the organisation of the 1st Borvin HALF Marathon event.

 

The marathon is scheduled to be held in the sub-district of Borvin starting at the Nick Amata Borvin City Company. The event will be on the 7th of February 2010 between 2:00am-10:00am.

The three events will include:

- 5km Healthy Walk-Run
- 10km Run including the 550 meter Mini Marathon
- 21.1km Half Marathon

The objective of the event is to increase tourism to the Borvin and Chon-Buri region, at the same time promoting the benefit of living a fit and active lifestyle.
