French Paedophile Arrested In Pattaya Selling Child Sex

A combined force from Thailand's Department of Special Investigation (DSI) and local police in this coastal province late Tuesday night arrested a French businessman who runs many entertainment venues in the seaside resort of Pattaya on charge of sexually abusing child and providing child sex for his customers.

Chon-Buri, the 25th of January 2010 [TNA]: French national Jean Eric Lopez, 47, was arrested after the DSI’s Bureau of Foreign Affairs and Transnational Crime was informed by representatives of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Thailand and French national police based at the French Embassy in Thailand that Mr Lopez used to run entertainment venues which offered boy sex trade for hire and the accused himself had sexually abused children.

According to the investigation, the DSI officials found that Mr Lopez is a shareholder in several entertainment venues for homosexuals in Pattaya, which provide children aged between 12 and 20 year-old to the customers.

The Pattaya Court issued an arrest warrant of Mr Lopez on Tuesday and he was arrested hours later.

The DSI operation officials also impounded a number of gay sex CDs and condoms. The French national has been charged with taking indecent liberties with children aged under 18-years-old despite having the child’s consent.

The accused denied the charges and was later taken to Pattaya for further questioning. (TNA)

go go bar owners do not sell girls to anyone,
a barfine barely covers the girls daily salary for a customer to take the girl out of the bar and the girl receives a commission on the barfine also,
the only selling that is done is by the girl who will negotiate with the customer for extra services, of which the bar gets nothing,

This person has been running bars that provided very young boys for about the last 4 or 5 years. It is a wonder that he has not been arrested before now. His bars have been raided in the past and only his employees and managers were arrested. Everyone that frequents Sunni knows who Lopez is as he he is usually around. Most Sunni customers ARE NOT Lopez's customers and pursue only legal age males. Many Sunni establishments have only legal boys (young men) working.

There were recent cases where people were charged in the USA. One man was arrested in a hotel across the street from one of Lopez's bars. It is possible and understandable that this person provided information to the FBI and that was forwarded to Thai police.

This is especially sickening because he's selling underage boys supposedly from ages 12-20 (wait isn't 18 legal age here), but doesn't every go-go bar owner do the same, well girls in their case, from probably 15-20 years old? This guy did something to single himself out - some disgruntled Thai ex-employee, pissed off business partner, local cop didn't get paid etc. I'd say he's gonna get his when he's extradited to France, but we know how soft les Frogs are on pedophiles (see Polanski, Roman - Director).

It is impossible for anyone to visit a hotel in Boyz Town without a valid ID card stating they are over 18 years old.

Why have used this photo to highlight this article. The person mentioned in the article is an infamous owner of businesses in another area of Pattaya that is renowed for the "services" he is alleged to provide and is also the area in which he was arrested.
Boyz Town is well known in the gay community for its stance against such activity.
