Pattaya’s “Cafe Royale” Celebrates New Year’s Eve

Once again the “Le Café Royale” put on a New Year’s Eve dinner, complete with entertainers to draw a packed restaurant of diners, and these spilled out onto the street side terrace, which was also a pleasant place to enjoy this superb evening meal.

Pattaya, – Thursday 31st December 2009 [PDN]: – This restaurant is situated off Second Road, just inside Boyz-Town in South Pattaya, and it has become a very popular place to dine, for those who appreciate fine food.

Diners arrived early and as well as local expats, there were visitors who were from a wide variety of countries including America, England, Russia, Europe and Spain, to name but a few. As well as a dance routine by some of Pattaya’s young men, the stars of the evening’s entertainment were undoubtedly three young Filipino singers.

This group is made up of a piano player, plus two very good vocalists, who can sing all types of music, but stick to what the customers want to hear, and they perform at the “Le Café Royale” around 2 - 3 times each week and have been doing so for several years. “Mine Host,” General Manager, Thomas Kalb, was ever present in a very unobtrusive way, just to make sure everything was operating smoothly, so that all of his clients had a very enjoyable evening.
