The Real Estate Magazine, JVK International Movers, and Town & Country Properties were instrumental in organizing this hugely popular charity event, with further amounts of cash being raised on the night, which will mainly go to charitable projects backed by the LHC. They perform excellent charity work helping the children of construction workers, who live on site and usually have very limited educational facilities, so mobile classrooms are just one area where they have made big advancements.
An admission fee was charged to help raise more funds for charity work, but nobody minded a bit, because the food and drinks did not run out. This included three litres each of most types of spirits, 450 “San Miguels,” not to mention copious quantities of champagne, Heinekens, red & white wines, etc.

In spite of heavy rain, the swimwear show by the highly regarded designers & manufacturers, “Phuket Mermaids,” was a resounding success, and the large crowd was highly delighted when some of our best professional models, carried on parading along the cat-walk in the pouring rain. One of the more adventurous golfers added to the excitement by jumping into the adjacent pond in a fully clothed but slightly inebriated state.

What else can one say, – a great night of food, drinks and fun, with some big raffle prizes being won. One of the biggest was a complete swimming pool valued at 180,000 baht, which was of course not on display. The show rolled on late into the night, with further amounts of cash being raised to bring the total to around 130,000 baht. The “Movers & Shakers” organized this evening event was arranged in conjunction with the Light-House Club (LHC) of Thailand, and was backed by various other businesses. There was some excellent feed back on such a successful day, so everyone is looking forward with anticipation to next year’s “Movers & Shakers” charity event.
