A speedy Songtaew(taxi) collided with an oncoming motorbike, riding by an unidentified Krateoy, against traffic, the krateoy was dead on the spot.
On 5 November, at 04.30 am, Pattaya Inspector, Pol.Lt.Col.Norawit Julawanit was notified that a motorbike had crashed into a taxi, causing the motorbike driver fatal injuries. The accident occurred in front of Chokchai glass shop, Soi Naklua 5, Moo. 5,Banglamung. A police team and Sawang Boriboon Rescue rushed to the scene.
There, officials discovered a Songtaew(taxi) blue, Isuzu D-mag no. plate 20-5376 Chonburi, sustained a lot of damage, including serious damage to the front bumper, a smashed head light, was parking in the middle of the road.
Twenty meters away from the taxi, a black Honda Icon, motorbike, license no. 263, Chonburi, had crashed and was lying on the road. The body of unidentified man who dressed up like a woman was lying on his back near his motorbike. The deceased man was clad in a white top and blue jeans. His arms and his legs were broken and his body was severely lacerated. His broken skull was soaked with blood.
According to witnesses and Mr. Teerapong Terptip(35) residing at 63, Moo. 1, Taboh, Meung, Petchaboon province, the driver of the taxi that the victim collided with, Mr. Teerapong was heading along Naklua Road from Naklua market towards Pattaya, while the victim was riding his motorbike out of the road side, against traffic. Mr. Teerapong could not stop his taxi, it smashed into the motorbike and the victim died immediately.
Officials assumed that the victim, was rushing out off the road and drove against traffic while the taxi driver was driving fast they both ended up crashing into each other, causing the victim fatal injuries.
