Korean Tourism organized Road Show to attract more tourists to Korea

A study has been made to check the rating on Korean tourism in Pattaya, hoping to propose a new tourism package to Korea to draw both local and foreign residents of Pattaya to visit Korea more.

At the Dusit Resort Hotel Pattaya, Mr. Kim Yoo Sung, Vice President of the Tourism of Korea together with Manager of Korea Tourism Authority for Thailand Mr. Tanes Rnong organized a Road Show to promote tourism for Korea.

The objectives were doing a public relation on Korea tourism; to build up good relationship and exchange of the Thai-Korean tourist. In the show there was a VDO on the various tourist attractions, shopping area and eating out places in Korea.

The show has drawn quite a lot of interest from visitors. Each year Pattaya received tourist from Korea few millions persons per year. With this factor Korea would like to promote their tourism and good image to the local Thai who has the power to buy package tour.

Korea has approximately 400 festivals every year. Including the promotion of agricultural products and food, as well as handicraft and art. These festivals stand out differently from one another.

The festivals will help to increase the total numbers of travelers to Korea, in which at the moment tourist from Thailand to Korea is around 60,000-70,00 person per year.
